UV DTF Transfers

Application Instructions:

  1. Clean the surface: Make sure the surface is clean, smooth, and free of dust, dirt, and oils. This can be done with a wet paper towel, alcohol pad, or gentle dish soap for items needing more of a cleaning. Make sure the surface is completely dry before application.

  2. Remove the paper backing: Peel the transfer off of the clear or white backing, ensuring all pieces lift off evenly. You can use a squeegee or plastic card to firmly press the transfer from the back before removing the backing paper. This will ensure it is firmly adhered to the clear carrier sheet on top of the image. Be careful not to touch the adhesive while removing the paper backing.

  3. Position the transfer: Using the clear carrier paper to hold the transfer and avoid the exposed adhesive back of the image, position the UV DTF transfer in the desired position on your item. Slowly stick it onto the product. Remember, these transfers are meant to be permanent, so apply carefully.

  4. Smooth the transfer into place: Now applied, remove any bubbles or wrinkles using firm pressure from your fingers, the edge of a credit card, or a squeegee. Start in the middle of your image and smooth outwards. Apply pressure all over the transfer to ensure it is adhered evenly.

  5. Remove carrier sheet: Slowly peel the clear carrier sheet from the front of the transfer by peeling the top left corner up and moving in a diagonal direction (to the bottom right corner). If the transfer pulls up with the clear layer, push it back down and firmly press it back into place before trying to remove it again.

  6. Enjoy!

Care Instructions:

UV DTF transfers are incredibly durable, but it is recommended to avoid exposing items with UV DTF images to dishwashers and microwaves to ensure longevity. Handwashing with gentle dish soap is recommended to help maintain the quality and adherence of the applied images. Applied UV DTF transfers hold up well under normal wear and tear, but a hard drop or tough scratch may cause damage to the image. UV DTF transfers can be applied to any hard and smooth surface such as metal, plastic, and glass. This type of image is a great choice for personalizing drinkware, phone cases, power banks, and more!
